Earlier this month, the Weatherby Healthcare team in Fort Lauderdale celebrated a successful 2010 with a holiday party at Galuppi’s, a country club banquet hall in Pompano Beach, with dancing from sundown and into the night.

CHG’s corporate marketing department hosted an open house event for employees on January 10 called the Marketing Fair. The event featured a raffle as well as games, treats, prizes and an opportunity to learn more about how corporate marketing, which includes the brand management, creative development, interactive marketing and corporate communications teams, is helping to drive our businesses.
In addition to their recent barbecue and bake sale fundraisers, our CompHealth permanent placement office in Norwalk, Conn., keeps finding ways to raise awareness and money to help fight breast cancer. One employee, Missy Horan, has been instrumental in helping raise money.

In addition to wearing pink to raise awareness for breast cancer on CHG's Day of Pink, the CompHealth permanent placement office in Norwalk, Conn., held a bake sale to raise money. Thanks to those buyers with a sweet tooth, the bake sale raised a total of $377.50.
Healthcare Traveler magazine featured Sandra Amato-Shipton, a traveler for RN Network, in its November issue. In the article, Amato-Shipton spoke about her experiences serving as a nurse in the military and then transitioning to travel nursing.
Fourteen families from CHG gave a helping hand on Saturday, Nov. 13, at CHG's Family Volunteer Day at the Utah Food Bank. The event was for employees and immediate family members ages 12 and older. Children under the age of 12 also had the opportunity to decorate boxes for food donations.
Healthcare Traveler has named Jerry Broughton, a recruiter for Foundation Medical Staffing in Edmond, Okla., as one of the magazine's recruiters of the year. Recruiters are nominated by their travelers and chosen by the publication. The feature will run in the December 2010 issue of HT. Nicole Thurman, CHG’s benefits director, accepted the award on behalf of CHG.
