Treadmill workstations, more lounging areas, less formal conference rooms, quiet work pods, and more collaborative workspaces are just a few ideas that are gaining traction. This is workplace transformation at its best!
“Our employees’ needs started to shift, following the coronavirus pandemic, and more of our people opted to work remotely or a hybrid of the office and home. We used this as an opportunity to rethink our office space,” says Bobby Stevens, senior director of real estate and workplace for CHG.
Bobby and her team are constantly pushing the limits on our office spaces with pops of color, unique textures, fun rooms, work out spaces, mother’s rooms, and rad kitchens. Their latest workspace reno is a level above their previous visions.
She continues, “This newest venture really takes into consideration our desire as a company to elevate the experience for all our employees. We created spaces to make it easier to collaborate in person and connect with people who are working remotely. And just like you can choose where you work when you’re at home, we want our people to choose where they work in the office. We designed spaces that cater to all different types of work, so our people can be comfortable and do their best work. We look forward to hearing feedback from our people on these new spaces, so we can roll out the best received ideas in our other offices.”
