CHG Healthcare and employee vaccinations

CHG CEO Scott Beck
CHG CEO Scott Beck

Updated April 1, 2022

As a company committed to making a difference in healthcare, our highest priority is ensuring the health and safety of our people, our customers, and our communities.

Like all healthcare organizations, we have been deeply saddened by the devastating effects of COVID-19 on both the people we serve and our healthcare workers who have experienced an incredibly heavy toll themselves. As a crucial part of the healthcare delivery system, CHG Healthcare has felt an important responsibility to do all we can to help stop the pandemic.

Last December, we began requiring all CHG employees to be vaccinated in order to work in our offices, attend company-sponsored events, or travel on behalf of the company. With the delta variant hitting America hard, health systems across the country were overwhelmed with COVID cases and nearly at the breaking point. We felt the best way our people could support our healthcare partners was to slow the spread of the virus by being vaccinated.

Today, it’s estimated that 94% of Americans ages 16 and up have developed antibodies against COVID from either being vaccinated or infected with the virus. New COVID cases, hospitalizations, and deaths are all declining and antiviral treatments are readily available to people who contract COVID.

Based on this data and the advice of medical professionals, we are removing our vaccine policy effective April 1, 2022.Our employees are no longer required to be vaccinated to come into the office, to attend company events, or travel on behalf of CHG. Safety is still our highest priority, so we will continue to provide flexible work options for all employees. Anyone who isn’t comfortable coming into the office or attending company-sponsored events is encouraged to talk to their leader and/or take other precautions such as wearing a mask.

On behalf of everyone at CHG, I want to thank all healthcare workers for keeping us safe during the pandemic and thank our employees for doing their part to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
